Meet Stephanie Haynes

Stephanie Haynes, PCC, GCDF/CCSP, SCDA is a certified career development trainer, coach, and educator with more than two decades of experience supporting youth, families, and the professionals who serve them.

She is a Certified NCDA Facilitating Career Development (FCD) Instructor, a Global Career Development Facilitator. Instructor (GCDF) through the Center for Credentialing and Education (CCE), a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coaching Federation (ICF), and holds the NCDA School Career Development Advisor (SCDA) credential.

Stephanie’s professional journey began in secondary education, where she served as a high school English teacher, department chair, instructional leader, and new teacher coach. That foundation shaped her deep understanding of how people learn, develop confidence, and apply new skills in real-world settings. Over the years, she has trained educators, coached school leaders and staff, and designed programs that translate theory into practical, actionable strategies.

Today, Stephanie specializes in career development training, program design, and pathway development, with a focus on helping professionals effectively support youth and young adults as they navigate post-high school decisions. She works with school counselors, educators, workforce professionals, and organizations seeking to build or strengthen career development services that are ethical, student-centered, and aligned with real-world opportunities.

Stephanie is the founder of the World Changers Academy, a career development program for teens and young adults, and Parent University, which equips parents with the tools and language to guide their children through post-high school planning. She is also the author of College Is Not Mandatory, a book that broadens the conversation around success and challenges the one-size-fits-all approach to postsecondary education.

As a GCDF and FCD Instructor, Stephanie is known for creating learning environments that are collaborative, supportive, and practical. She understands the realities professionals face balancing full workloads, client needs, and continuing education. Her training style emphasizes clarity, confidence, and application, ensuring participants not only earn their credential, but also leave feeling prepared to immediately use what they have learned.

At the heart of Stephanie’s work is a commitment to helping others feel capable, informed, and supported. Whether she is training career development professionals, coaching families, or designing pathways within schools, her goal remains the same: to help people build meaningful futures grounded in purpose, possibility, and informed choice.
